Michele Mulkey

Michele Mulkey has been a Special Effects Make-Up Artist and Prop Maker for over 12 years, working in the US, UK ad Canada for film and television. In addition to owning her own Special Effects Studio, Michele is also the Co-Creator of ANImakeup,as well as recently contributing to chapters in the Makeup Artist Handbook 2nd ed. by Academy Award Winning makeup artist Mindy Hall and Gretchen Davis. Throughout her career, Michele’s skill and talent have been used to create various looks for many celebrities, including Thora Birch, Christine Lahti, Denzel Washington, Brittany Snow, David Rasche, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Michael Urie, Vin Diesel, Karl Urban, Colm Feore, Alan Cumming, Jamie Kennedy, Ben Stein, Jennifer Tilly, Hunter Tylo, and Robin Riker to name a few. Michele’s credits have a combined total of over 37 feature films and television shows, including Petunia, The Last Samurai, The Chronicals of Riddick, Venom, Son of the Mask, Disney’s The Haunted Mansion, Seed of Chucky, Charmed, C.S.I. Miami, Joss Whedon’s Firefly, Without A Trace, Bold and the Beautiful, and Law and Order: Criminal Intent.
