An unlucky in love college senior pursues his beautiful, yet unstable dream girl, but when his best friend falls for him he must rethink the meaning of love and friendship and choose between the two.
This script was a finalist the Screenplay Festival Competition.
Brief Blacklist coverage: ""The script is at its best when it plays with the coming-of-age aspects in the story. The overall message is solid: that in college, no one has any idea what they want from a romantic relationship, and they have to learn each and every lesson the hard way. It's a pretty much universal truth, which helps lend an air of intelligence to the story. The intellectualized path of Seth's journey (what we understand to be happening with his life) is definitely relatable to most 20-somethings who spent any time in college."
The script is written along the lines of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and has been favorably compared to "Garden State" on Zoetrope. It's about a senior prelaw student, SETH, who has to decide between his best friend (ELLIE), and a long-term crush (ALLISON).
