Roland Hofer

He is from the dark village of Kitchener-Waterloo. He has been compared to Red Skelton or Jimmy Cricket. He developed a red wig character known as Caliban Strange.

Caliban Strange is the alter ego that is the alien. Dr. Hofer, the ufo-oligist is tracking the alien.

He does a show, with a scarecrow puppet, called Billy Scarecrow, and a sock puppet called Mr. Mouton. It is based on Shari Lewis's lambchop. Billy Scarecrow is the adult show. Billy was working in the cornfield and a tractor ran over him. He can only respond with a series of beeps, with a piezo buzzer as a communicator.

MOVIE- based on the inventions of Caliban. It is a DVD called " Rock Power,"- The Solar Powered Rock. It has been picked up by OUAT Media Inc., in Toronto.

We took the oldest technology, a rock, and created Rock Music, with a solar powered amplifier. Rock Power charges during the day and runs an Mp3 player at night. It is truly a healing substance. Music of the spheres. It is a metaphor for the planet. We live on a solar powered rock.
