About Niklas

GREATMUSIC
Based in Copenhagen/Denmark, the composer duo, greatmusic, specializes in music that transcendes the right feeling for the picture.

Niklas Schak and Tin Soheili have composed music for more than 100 film, theater, tv, documentary and commercial ads since 2003.

Among award winnings films which screened woldwide greatmusic, has scored ”the Ambassador”, by Mads Brügger and “Sepideh “ by Berit Madsen, - "Children of Darfur” by Camilla Nielsson, (see our CV for full info)

Our theater work also includes original scores on the criticaly acclaimed "lost memories" from 2014, and "the Symphony of Silence" from 2010 by choreographer Pernille Garde. (see our CV for further info)

We seek and steal inspiration from composers such as Debussy, Sibelius, Arvo Pärt, Radiohead, Jonny Greenwood, Bernard Hermann, Cliff Martinez, Alberto Iglesias , Gustavo Santaolalla, Daniel Lanios, Trent Reznor, Johnny Cash, Enio Morricone and everything else that feels right.

We admire directors such as, Poul Thomas Anderson, Roy Anderson, Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola, Oliver Hirschbiegel, Alejandro González Iñárritu, David Lynch
Christopher Nolan, Tom Tykwer and many other great ones out there.
