SYNOPSIS:

Lake Robbins has always been known for its tranquil, scenic beauty, but now, something ancient and deadly has awakened in its dark, cold depths. After the local Sheriff, Paul Travers and Fish and Game Officer, Jeff Sanders, search in vain for clues as to what is killing the residents of this once quiet, lake community, they seek the assistance of Paul's younger sister, Kelly, a paleontologist living in California. After sending Kelly a picture of a tooth recovered from one of the creature’s victims, she flies out to the lake, and the three quickly team up to find the source of the gruesome mutilations. Kelly suspects that an extinct species of aquatic dinosaur may have somehow survived in the lake. Now, with a rising body count and a man-eating creature threatening the lake's up and coming Water Festival. Stan Johnson, a local marina owner hires an animal mercenary team to eradicate the threat that will keep tourists from renting his jet skis on the upcoming busy festival weekend. When the mercenaries arrive, Kelly steps up and insists that this specimen must be preserved for study and not destroyed. The race to capture the creature reaches an even more desperate pace when one of the mercenaries a doctor, joins the sheriff's team and they actually manage to capture the creature. But, when the other two members of the mercenary team get a better offer for the creature, it is now up to the sheriff's team to protect it from certain extinction.
