I was born in 1989 in Bergamo, a small town in the North of Italy.
In 2011 I got my BA (110/110 cum laude) in Literature, Music and Performing Arts from Sapienza - University of Rome with a thesis on Joss Whedon’s Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Heideggerian philosophy, which was published in Italy in 2012.
In 2013 I got my MA (110/110 cum laude) in Film Studies from Sapienza - University of Rome with a thesis on the urban imagery of London in contemporary British TV series.
In November 2012 I won, along with my university colleague Marco Borromei, the Silver Prize in the category Reality TV Concept at the Hollywood Screenplay Contest, Los Angeles (USA).
At the moment, I am completing my PhD in Film Studies at the University of Westminster, London (UK) with a thesis about the relationship between film adaptation and technological development.
I have always been involved in writing: I’ve worked as a journalist, as a radio author and as a creative writer for many projects and in 2011 I published a book for kids.
In the past five years I have written many short films and I have collaborated as a script editor and translator for many Italian film productions. In September 2013 I was commissioned an original script for a 90-min feature film by an Italian film company. The film is a high-budget production and it is supposed to be launched in late 2014.
I speak and write fluently both in Italian and English. I currently live in London, UK.
