Hope Retreat; 2002 –Present; Nashville, Tennessee; Duties include Directing a Christ centered resident recovery program for troubled and at risk youth. Nouthetic Biblical counseling for these youths, using the same DSM that the medical field uses for diagnosis of mental disease but giving a Biblical reference for recovery either in combination with the medical approach, and/or remaining simply Biblical if recovery can happen without medication. Since 2002, other than working with these troubled and at risk youths, I have also worked same program for adult mentally challenged and addictions, working with battered and abused women, the homeless, orphanages, to convalesant living for the elderly, including Christ centered resident hospice program.
Universal Star Production Company, 1979 through 1999; Nashville Tennessee Hollywood & Wilmington NC; I began with this company as a “go-for”, learning the industry of film and television production literally from the ground up. Soon after beginning with the company, I attribute largely because of my experience I had received from working with “American Insurance Company, dealing with clients whole investment portfolios, I became one of the company’s top film producers. With this company I worked in every facet of the film and television industry. I have experience in everything from story development, writing scripts and screenplays, production, from directing, producing, cam-operator to boom operator, and finally post-production, from editing, then the marketing and distribution.
American Insurance Company; 1978 – 1984. Finished as Regional Vice President; Managing the company marketing force for the region of Tennessee, North & South Carolina and Georgia. I managed the whole sales force for this region by first managing the phone and mail rooms where leads were generated, as well as their other marketing efforts, primarily through direct mail campaigns and then managed the sales staff who sold their products. These products ranged from all kinds of insurance products, from life and health products, to property and causality, real estate sales and developments, to handling a client’s whole investment portfolio, such as stocks and bonds, securities, annuities and mutual funds.
