Enrique SuarezOlmos

On February of 2009, Enrique moved to New York City to start his career as a professional actor and dancer. He attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy where he did a Musical Theater Program and on May of 2013 he graduated from The New School. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with a Musical Theater Major and a Certificate in Screenwriting. Enrique was born and raised in Mexico City where inspired by his father’s profession and motivated by his mom’s patience and dedication he participated in a few theater plays and musicals. Some of his credits include: Bilingual Latino Children’s Theater Teatro SEA’s The Legends of The Enchanted Treasure, The Dropouts and Martina, The Little Roach. A Concert in Remembrance: The 10th Anniversary of 9/11 where he got the opportunity to sing two of his songs. His film credits include a few short films, where he collaborated with other Mexican artists like directors Miguel Valdés and Roberto Vicencio. His next LA credit will be in the role of The Green Christmas Cat at Little Casa Theater’s musical Santa and the Snowflake, opening December 2013. As an interesting fact, you can see him as an Alien in Men in Black 3, role that qualified him to join SAG. Currently alternating cities between New York and Los Angeles. SAG Eligible.

En febrero del 2009, Enrique se mudó a la ciudad de Nueva York donde inicia su carrera como actor y bailarín profesional en un programa de conservatorio de Teatro Musical en AMDA (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy). Cuatro años más tarde se gradúa de The New School con un título de Licenciado en Teatro Musical con un Certificado en Guion de Cine. Es originario de la Ciudad de México, en donde inspirado por la carrera de su papá y motivado por la paciencia y dedicación de su mamá participó en varias obras de teatro y musicales. Dentro de las producciones en las que ha participado, destacan: Las Leyendas del Tesoro Encantado, Los Desertores y La Cucarachita Martina de Teatro SEA, Concierto de Aniversario en Memoria del 11 de Septiembre, donde tuvo la oportunidad de interpretar dos canciones de su autoría. En cine ha sido parte de varios cortometrajes, trabajando en colaboración con otros talentos mexicanos como los directores Miguel Valdés y Roberto Vicencio. Su próximo crédito en Los Ángeles será en el musical infantil Santa y el copo de nieve, producción de Little Casa Theater, donde interpretará el papel de El Gato Verde de la Navidad. Como dato curioso, fue un alien en la película Hombre de Negro 3, producción que le permitió calificar para el sindicato de actores más importante de Estados Unidos, SAG. Actualmente alterna ciudades, entre Nueva York y Los Ángeles. Actualmente es candidato a SAG.
