With a background in the Film & TV industry from both Australia and New Zealand, I gained the opportunity in 2010 of studying Producing at Melbourne University’s Victoria College of the Arts (VCA) and working with the emerging talents there I produced a number of short films across different genres and emerged with one of the VCA’s first feature films, Wakey Wakey.
After gaining initial experience working in the Research and Development arena with documentary houses such as 360 Degrees, Renegade, December Media, and Instinct, I collaborated on a number of corporate videos, music videos, and TVC’s with Melbourne production company Crank Films.
The last two years have brought valuable experience as a producers assistant on Ten’s Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms, in the production offices of ABC comedy Upper Middle Bogan and Logie winner Redfern Now, and coordinating the post-production pathway for ABC’s bio-pic Cliffy. To further understand production finances I just completed work on Screentimes Fat Tony & Co in the accounts department and I'm about to start work in the production office of Upper Middle Bogan Series 2!
The logistical elements of production and the creative aspects of storytelling are my strengths and where I want to further my skills.
