Known as the “Poet of Peace” for the peace treaty he brokered between Nocturnes (Vampires) and Innocents (Humans) Eki has fought for equality for all-believing that someday love would return the light of love to his heart. But the peace begins to crumble as Vampires are butchered, militant acts of terrorism increase and Martial Law is declared. Eki finds the love he has been searching for-one that can save the world, cure the Vampire infection and return life to himself-but it comes at the greatest price of all.
