Robb is a British St Martin’s School of Art graduate, the son of a 1960’s fashion photographer, with extensive experience of production and post-production. He has been involved in the start up years of many companies including MTV, The Children’s Channel, Virgin Interactive and his own, An Ideal World. The thread that connects all of Robb’s work is a passion for storytelling. Robb is a permanent US Resident and is available for work immediately in the US, Canada or the UK.

Industry Experience in the US

An Ideal World / Producer - Director - VFX Supervisor - Editor / 1997 - Present
Main responsibilities include: writing, budgeting, shooting, and editing. On many projects Robb also provides: storyboarding, motion graphics, and visual effects. Robb is totally ‘hands on’ when required. In post, he uses, Adobe Creative Cloud, FCP, Shake and Autodesk Flame.
Brands include: Acura, Airwalk, Bosch, Daisy, Hilton, Honda, Lincoln, Mattel, Mercedes, Ringling Brothers, Samsung, Subaru and Toshiba.
Agency clients include: alPunto, Ayzenberg, Casanova Pendrill, DGWB/Amusement Park, GKC, HBRA, Innocean, Saatchi & Saatchi LA, Truth and Y&R.
Marketing promotions for: Crave, Disney, Foundation 9, Oakley.
Direct Corporate clients include: Disney, Korbel Champagne, Kingston Technology, Mothers Polishes and Waxes, and Paul Mitchell Schools.

Director of Digital Video / 1993 - 1997
Built in-house post-production unit and green screen stage. Handled post and production of cinematics and promotions for the marketing department. Supervised 3D artists and 2D artists. Worked on projects with: Clive Barker, John Carpenter, Sylvester Stallone, Tim Curry, and Christopher Lloyd


Industry Experience in the UK prior to 1993
The Children's Channel / Head of Production
Hired and managed a team of around 100 people. Ran Quantel Paintbox based Animation Suite. Formatted the shows and handled sponsors such as Hasbro and Nintendo, He also worked extensively with Ex Henson puppeteers
MTV Europe / Producer
Part of the launch team that took the channel on air and supervised the building and outfitting of a brand new studio and transmission facility. Produced the VJ links and Trailers. He was the original producer of YO! MTV Raps.
Thorn EMI / Presentation and Promotions Producer
Launch of three satellite channels: Music Box, Premiere and The Children's Channel.
Channel 4 / AD - Sound - Lighting - Film Research - Film Editor
Documentary Film making on ‘Survive’ - 6 x 60 min films, shot over 18 months all over the world.
Robb had dinner with cannibals, lived with tribes in the Amazon, went to the North Pole and filmed in Nazi death camps.
Thames TV / Film Editor
Film editing for: Drama, Science, Children’s, News, Sports and Current Affairs programmes.
Robb mainly worked on TV Eye, a British show similar to 60 Minutes. This took him to Argentina during the Falklands war, where he smuggled money and film and bribed customs officials.
