SYNOPSIS:

U.F.E. - A female version of “Star Man” where a female shape shifter comes to Earth to find her father before the authorities apprehend and kill her.

25 years ago, a forbidden romance between a female shape shifter and human male left a trail of bodies in its wake. Earth banned aliens from our planet. Punishment is death, dissection or worse. No alien dares to break the quarantine until now.

Ethereal is an offspring from that forbidden affair. She reaches her maturation cycle and has three days to mate or become forever childless. On her home world, shape shifters see her as a human curse.

Ethereal journeys to Earth in hopes her human father can arrange a partner. Her coming to Earth leads to lots of danger. Her father flees from Kansas to safety in the Rocky Mountains. As for Ethereal, she needs to shift into human form and adapt to the unfamiliar culture as she embarks on a road trip to find her estranged father.

Ethereal’s first contact goes badly. She approaches a teenage girl in a Kansas cornfield. The girl misinterprets the contact as a monster attack. To communicate, Ethereal transforms into a human by extracting the girl’s DNA. This process of tentacles sprouting from her head to connect with the girl’s skull looks more like brain eating or body snatching.

BANG. BANG. The girl’s boyfriend shoots the alien with his shotgun. Although Ethereal hurt, she recovers and knocks out the boyfriend with his own shotgun.

Ethereal finishes the transformation process to become a fiery redheaded young woman. As a human, her wounds don’t heal quickly. A posse forms to kill her. Ethereal flees through the cornfields and runs into Jonah’s truck.

Jonah checks on Ethereal. She collapses in his arms. Jonah realizes the gut wound is severe. She won’t last long without immediate medical attention. Jonah takes Ethereal to his home to patch her up.

A quick recovery through alien healing, Ethereal asks Jonah about finding her father. Jonah knows Alex, a recluse with ties to the disappearance of Jonah’s pops.

The duo find out that Alex has fled to the Rocky Mountains. A road trip ensues.

Meanwhile, the Federal Alien Unit investigates the alien cornfield encounter. The group administers damage control. They plan to bag and tag Ethereal and any of her accomplices.

During the trip, Ethereal experiences the joys of Earth. She develops a fondness for chocolate. She bonds with Jonah on a friendship level that escalates into a passionate and steamy shower scene. This abruptly ends before getting out of hand when Ethereal storms out of the motel room.

Searching for Ethereal, Jonah runs into a gang. They beat him unconscious. They plan to kill him until Ethereal saves the day. She easily defeats the gang in her shifter form and heals Jonah. In the process, Jonah discovers her alien secret.

A heart to heart talk reveals Ethereal didn’t fit in on her home world, doesn’t fit in on Earth. For Jonah, her actions speak louder. She rescued him and he vowed to take her to Alex.

Ethereal and Jonah reach the park where Alex hides. The Federal agents close in. Racing through the park, agents blast Ethereal with laser fire and capture the duo.

Alex saves the day by taking out the agents and freeing Ethereal and Jonah. The family/daughter reunion. Ethereal demands a partner. Alex knows Jonah is the one. Why did Alex flee? He needed to protect Ethereal. His hideout has a UFO. Time for Ethereal to return to the stars.

Too bad, a powerful enemy emerges. Her mother’s arranged partner leads the Fed Alien Unit. He plans to kill Ethereal for mother’s betrayal.

Jonah and Ethereal are no match for a pure shape shifter. As the enemy prepares a kill strike, Alex uses an alien sword to subdue the partner.

Not much time left on Earth for Ethereal. She uses the time to consummate with Jonah in a merging of energy streams, a visual display of the shifter mating process. Ethereal leaves Jonah behind. She heads into the stars with children in her womb.
