About Wolf

The Screenwriters Forum was started in April 2018 by Wolf Bukowski, a 32-year Pacific Grove resident. During that time, he commuted between Pacific Grove and Los Angeles, where he worked in the television industry, involved in a multitude of creative tasks.

As television director, producer, editor, and writer, he has been involved in countless projects, live broadcast, talk shows and documentaries in studios or on location. He has received three Emmy awards and various other awards for his work. In 1996 he received the Jose Rizal Memorial Gold Award for playwriting for Luna Azul.

Theatrical plays and screen writing have always been his real interests. In Los Angeles, he was a long time member of the New Playwrights Foundation writers group, which generated original stage and screenplay material. During this time, Wolf enjoyed reading countless screenplays. In the 90s, the group operated a theatre in Hollywood that produced their own original works. One of them was Wolf’s, Headgames, Tales from the Id, which he has adapted into a shooting script for a video production soon to be shot.

Currently, one of his projects is a screenplay entitled, Spirits in the Mist, a tale which takes place in Pacific Grove in the 1940s. It deals with witchcraft and human passion and a young refugee child who has a special gift that malevolent forces desire.

One of the reasons Wolf started Screenwriters Forum, other than to experience the incredible creative adrenaline it releases, was developing his own material as well as reading and assisting with other writers’ works. Here each writer can learn a lot more about their own writing and the work of other fellow members in a supportive imaginative environment… A two way bonus!

The Screenwriters Forum, a supportive group environment, considers the Spec Script, script format, the pitch, the log line, the Query Letter, Novels into screenplays and visa versa, and Table Reads— Just for fun or a good laugh, or a nice cup of coffee.
