A software developer by trade, Keith's interest in screenplays began back in 2012 when a friend suggested that he enter a short film contest in Ottawa, Canada, called Digi60. After creating three short films in the following years, he auditioned to take part in the collaborative film project called The Treepot Challenge in which 5 directors would be randomly chosen to create a segment of a story, each director building upon the other. In creating the third segment, Eye Of The Storm, his desire for understanding film structure and storytelling went to another level. Joining a local writers workshop in 2014, he started to learn the craft and in 2017 he completed his first feature script, Break My Fall, which went on to being a semifinalist in the 2017 ScreenCraft Drama Competition. His next fully completed script, A Stable Life, has currently reached the quarterfinals of the 2021 Stage 32 Feature Comedy Writing Contest.
His motto is "Make 'em laugh and make 'em cry". Keith's stories dig deep into the internal struggles that most of us face as we make our way through life.
