About Robert
Based in the small, waterfront town of New Baltimore, MI, I’ve been writing stories for as long as I can remember. From my first Young Authors Contest win in elementary school through my last college essay, writing has always been a big part of my life. And after I graduated from Michigan State University with an Advertising degree, it became my life.
I started in print advertising as a copywriter, writing circulars and magazine ads for a retail giant. Since, I’ve moved jobs several times, working on big-budget clients such as Lincoln, Chrysler, Dodge and GM. But it wasn’t until five years ago, that I truly found my passion. Out of my love for story-telling, I started writing feature screenplays and have now written 6 full-length scripts, each garnering commendations in various screenplay contests. I’ve also written two original television pilots, including Rough Draft, which was a finalist in the WildSound Pictures' screenplay contest. I went on to write 35 episodes of the show and am currently shopping it around. I also collaborated on a second original television pilot with a friend, Connie Johnson, called Midwife Crisis.
When not writing, I’m usually thinking of new ideas, spending time with my wife and two golden retrievers, Four-Lea and Cloé or watching as many movies as I can possibly see.
