* Started on STAGE as Actor
* Became and SINGER SONG WRITER for a short while.
Wrote own lyrics.
* Dabbled in Film as WARDROBE, PRODUCTION ASSISTANT with dreams of Producing.
* Diverted to PUBLISHING for many years, post liberation in South Africa. Met authors in that time, collected blessings, letters of support and mentally earmarked productions to turn into potential future Screenplays.
* WROTE, PERFORMED, PRODUCED One-Woman show 'The Voice Beyond the Veil' 2005,6,7.
* Became SCREENWRITER
* TAUGHT SCREENWRITING 2012
* 2013 Wrote first Screenwriting MANUAL TRAINING BOOK: STRIKE UP! STRUCTURE YOUR FIRST FILM.

Dyer is passionate about Film: “I’ve spent a long time getting here and now the ‘sum of all my parts’, I believe, I have a marked contribution to make.”

In African culture there is an expression, 'The water runs where it wants to". My water running to Writing, Directing, Producing, not necessarily in that order.
