Two friends transplanted from Cuba, Pete, a singing penguin and his sidekick Caliente’, a monkey lead a troupe of time traveling modern day troubadours through adventures filled with music, mystery and fun!   Their dream is to make it to the “big time,” but the journey to fame takes an unconventional path through the errant magic of Floyd, a captive snake of one of the musicians who always seems to sidetrack the band’s ambitions by transporting them to historic places and times.

SYNOPSIS:

Penguin Pete and Caliente seek fame and fortune along with the rest of their band. But everything goes wrong when Habib, a Pungi player shows up with his snake Floyd. The band is transported through time courtesy of Floyd’s errant magic attempts. The cast is an eclectic mix of characters and cultures which often inspires mayhem and madness. But together they manage to battle Barbary Pirates, search for lost art treasure in Russia and struggle to stop a runaway train approaching a washed out bridge in the Florida Keys. Danger lurks, struggles abound as they sing, dance and walk their way through history meeting famous people along the way.
