GENRE: Comedy, Drama
LOGLINE:

On the 5th anniversary of the loss of the love of his life, a heartbroken man begins seeing absurd and fantastical things that are all in some way connected to his former lover, leading him to set out on a journey with his best friend to rediscover his happiness before it's lost forever.

SYNOPSIS:

Nick Harrison loved his life - a recent college graduate about to start a career and preparing to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Andie. Happiness enveloped him, but that all changed when Andie died in a car accident. Five years later, he struggles to find happiness in his life. On the anniversary of her death, in a drunken stupor, he makes a wish on the fountain that he was going to propose at. The next morning, he wakes up to find some unusual things happening: a cursing baby, a chimpanzee singing Neil Diamond in his backyard. He believes he is either imagining everything or going mentally insane; that is until his best friend, Lewis Parker, a heavy, energetic man, starts to notice the same things that are happening. The two decide to go out on a journey in search for the meaning of these random and bizarre incidents that are taking over their lives.

On their quest, Nick and Lewis deal with raging monsters, flying cars, red knights, and many other things that threaten to take their sanity and their lives. They come to realize that everything they have encountered has some form of connection to Andie and Nick's relationship with her. They struggle to discover the reasoning behind it all, and as their sanity and hope start to fade away, they must rely on each other to pick themselves back up and continue with the journey until they make it to the end.

Nick and Lewis finally discover the meaning behind everything that has happened to them. Every eccentric event that they encountered throughout the day were all dreams, dreams intermingled with memories, that Nick had the night before, and they were all leading him to one final interaction with his long, lost love, who appears before him in the flesh. Nick already lost her once; he's not going to lose her again. Dancing together, they drift upward toward the sky. They kiss, and then, in an explosion of light and color, they disappear as they are swept away together into eternity.
