Life took a MAJOR turn and I left school but not before I did an internship at a local cable company which gave the experience of a life time. I loved what I was doing back then and have realized how much I want to work back into some production work now. Better late than never! Currently writing my first script, trying at least. Always working on my music and decided to "just do it!" So I will try to keep everyone up to date with the projects, and who knows maybe put some of us to work!
Thanks for the invite K D Keep smiling :-)
Thanks for accepting. :D
Great post, thank you for sharing your lessons and encouragements. I love this, in the context of listening to music that you don't naturally enjoy :"The question you might start with is: what do people hear in it who do like this music? That is the fine art of appreciation."

As I began to write I found myself doing just what you said, drawing from all those influences. This post couldn't be more right! Thanks for sharing. BTW as a teenager my friends thought I was nuts listening to classical, country, rock, big band, and the list goes on. So who's nuts now?
Your experience sounds really familiar. My dad was a superb musician (Juilliard grad) and he made sure that we heard anything and everything. Most of my friends didn't "git it" either.
Currently writing but stuck, we've all been there. I don't like being stuck. We're our own worse critics and I think it's amazing how we rip our selves apart and still come out the other end, eventually.. .lol
Thanks for the connection Ron¡¡¡
Have several ideas I'm putting to paper. Would like to get to know people with creative minds. Two heads are better than one...some of the time. Feel free to contact me...
