Gareth Fient is a director and editor, known for his cinematic and versatile work in drama, comedy, music videos and corporate work.
Gareth was born in Orpington, Kent on 28th October 1993. He started making films at an early age, resulting in him making a remarkable 34 films, documentaries, video's and commercials since 2007. Gareth has continued to strive within the industry, winning numerous awards for his work.
Two of Gareth's most recognised pieces were "Scarred" - a film on the effects of domestic violence and "Shanked" - a film on the effects of Knife Crime which gained Gareth a lot of media coverage and mentions within the British Film Industry. Gareth has a passion for social-issue storytelling and drama, meaning he is capable of tackling powerful, strong and sometimes, emotional topics.
Gareth also teaches at a young person's filmmaking club "Pointless Taxi" and runs masterclasses at the Rob Knox Film Festival, as well as giving talks at various schools throughout England on filmmaking.
Gareth is also working on various films with filmmakers in LA, New York and Rhode Island
