MICHAEL STÖEN directed and produced his first short film Winter Birth in 2008. After three years of film studies at the University of Gothenburg he
began a six month internship at Fasad/Idyll in Stockholm where he assisted during the post-production and release stages of two feature films. He then produced the short documentary The Grand Central (2012) which he also directed. Together with ARIEL MCMILLION, he then founded the film production cooperative CASSANDRA PICTURES through which he wrote, directed and produced his second short film Mamma Therese (2014) as well as several commercial projects.
