Dion Short Metzger

Dion Metzger, MD is a nationally recognized Board Certified Psychiatrist. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency at Emory University School of Medicine. She also completed medical research at Stanford University School of Medicine and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Dr. Metzger is currently on faculty as a professor of psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine, Medical College of Georgia and Morehouse School of Medicine. She is a health and wellness expert who has been featured on The Doctors, Aspire TV, NBC News, CNN’s sister station HLN, and in The New York Times. She has provided her expertise in discussions on relationships, marriage, work/life balance, parenting, sex and other wellness topics. Dr. Metzger’s motto of “better mind, better life” encourages audiences to prioritize their mental health in life’s balance. She also is the co-author of the best selling book “The Modern Trophy Wife: How To Achieve Your Goals While thriving At Home”.
