Two desperate siblings resort to robbery to stave off their mother's imminent eviction from an assisted living facility. But predators turn into prey when the duo targets a lonely, older seductress harboring a sinister secret.

SYNOPSIS:

TALIA and MIKE do not face a fork in their road...

Living out of their car and working dead end jobs that don’t come close to making ends meet force the duo to resort to less than savory means to try to keep their heads above water.

Armed with a seductive smile and bottle of Rohypnol, they take turns prowling the local bars for unsuspecting victims to lure back home, drug and rob. It is a rouse that is not the most lucrative but has proven successful in that they have yet to be caught.

But their latest financial blow may prove too much to bear: their incapcitated mother faces imminent eviction from her assisted living facility with no backup plan in the pipeline.

With sixteen hours to cover their mother’s debt, the pair go back on the hunt, setting their sights on a lonely, older woman with a kind smile and a fat wallet. She may very well be the cash cow they have been searching for.

But thoughts of a lucrative score soon dissolve when their target reveals herself to be every bit the predator she is synonymous with...a cougar with a deep, dark secret.

"COUGAR" is a contained thriller in the vein of Takashi Miike's "AUDITION" and "DON'T BREATHE" - a slow burn that culminates in an explosive, horrific climax that audiences will not soon forget.

The project takes place primarily in a single indoor location with minimal talent (three main roles) required, making it the perfect prospect for a COVID-19 production landscape.
