After her short was completed, Actors were interviewed and a live performance of Mimi’s work was presented in New Hampshire. Mr. Thompson encouraged Mimi and challenged her to adapt a screenplay, which she had just started writing, into a stage play. Flippin’ Thru the Rolodex was her choice. Director, Gay Grooms, Elm Street Cultural Arts Village, was the first to read the script. Gay immediately scheduled the play for performances. It left Elm and was performed at Laurel Canyon in Canton, GA. Mimi has now completed the screen adaption of Flippin’ Thru the Rolodex.
