About G.

I grew up in Connecticut and moved to L.A. in 2006 to pursue my MFA in Film: Animation at UCLA. I've worked on independent films as a director, animator, production coordinator, puppet builder and puppeteer and as an Animation professor at Loyola Marymount University. I've also worked on projects for Weird Al Yankovic, George Lopez, Hasbro, UCLA, NYU, and TED-Ed. I am currently working on the artwork for an independent video game while finishing up my latest short animated film, "Songs My Mother Never Taught Me".

Unique traits: I work in all different animation media, including traditional (hand-drawn on paper), tradigital (hand-drawn on computer), 3D computer, 2 1/2D computer, stop-motion, and hybrid animation. I am also a puppeteer and can build puppets, props, and sets for live-action puppeteering. My background is in both art and writing as well as film and digital media, so I have an excellent eye for story, characters, and visual storytelling.
