An animal control officer teams up with a marine biologist and local police to kill a sea creature that has evolved and relocated to the dark underworld of Wildwood, New Jersey’s boardwalk where it violently establishes dominance in its new environment and feeds on a buffet of beach goers. 

SYNOPSIS:

Amy Portman is an attractive animal control expert working in Wildwood, New Jersey at the peak of vacation season. Her experience with dangerous animals comes in handy to the police who ask for her help investigating a wave of violent murders along the beach. With the help of a local biologist they discover that a sea creature has evolved from the depths of the ocean floor and relocated to the sandy underbelly of Wildwood’s two and a half mile long boardwalk. Not only is the creature quickly adaptable, but also highly intelligent, very resilient and determined to establish dominance in its new environment. A team is unified between Amy, local law enforcement and the biologist to hunt down and kill it. But Amy and the rest of the team’s determination to save lives are costing them their own as the creature continues to drag new victims to their dark and sandy graves under the boardwalk.
