About Thomas

Perhaps it was the mean streets of Brooklyn, NY that brought so many comedians from a simmer to boil to a crazy stew. (It was, in fact, Crazy Stew who first laughed at my antics). The environment surely influenced me. Writing and producing the high school Senior Class comedy show (the show went on despite the Bobby Kennedy's assassination the day before) offers a glimpse at my beginnings and determination.

In college in NYC, I met Frank Cotolo (writer and now host of SRN-One Media's weekly "Cotolo Chronicles") and together we wrote/produced and acted in our weekly half-hour comedy show "Dead Air" produced by Casino Loot Productions back in the 1970s after we each received bachelor degrees in Communication Arts.

Frank went on to write for Wolfman Jack's Radio show and the Wolf's "Midnight Special" TV show. I developed a Pierre Cossette project called "Brooklyn Roads" and it was while working on that special, ironically, (which was to feature noted comedians and funny folk from Brooklyn) that the door to mysticism and spirituality opened for me and refuses to be shut. (Barricading entry ways with obstacles -- physically or otherwise -- won't keep spirits from finding you).

I became a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, meditation teacher, high-school English teacher, and certified hypnotist (though many people acquainted with me prefer to tag me "certifiable").

Over the years, gripes about our social condition here in these great not-so-united states inspired me to write pieces that have appeared in Brooklyn Today (the paper that never saw tomorrow), the Glendale News Press, the Burbank Leader, the Optimist, and the Los Angeles Times.

My radio partner of 38 years ago invited me on his weekly show "Cotolo Chronicles" in 2013. A favorable response led to more invitations. Soon I was on each month. The reaction was positive enough for SRN-One Media to offer me my own ninety minute, LIVE, weekly show to be heard (starting Dec 2014) each Thursday.
