About Matt

As a native New Yorker, I always felt I had the blood of a contrarian. When you're a kid running amok in the streets of Brooklyn, you're exposed to a motley crew of eccentric personalities. Larger than life characters that tend to rub off on you, building a framework in your mind for comedy to cultivate.

Whether I'm on stage performing as a comic or writing a screenplay at the discomfort of my own home, my goal has always been the same: to provide social commentary through the lens of chaos.

If we can go back in time and hire a writer to adapt a George Orwell book into a Marx Brothers film, I'd be your best option. And by option, I mean just that: you'd want to produce it. Like a balancing act between free jazz and critical thinking, I cater my work to satisfy both walks of life. To me satire is therapy. Not only is it a beacon of light in harrowing times, but with careful precision, can serve as a weapon.

If you're an independent producer or financier who share these sentiments, I'd love to hear from you. Let's restore comedy back to its roots. As an unfettered and unfiltered tool for auditing those drunk with power.

Unique traits: Stand-up, Piano, Composer, Videography, Video editing, Photography, Photo editing, Basketball
