About Andy

Born in London, UK, grew up in Dublin, Ireland and Luxembourg, I live in Sydney, Australia with my wife and son.

I grew up in a house of books, cinema, art and music. My earliest cinematic memory is Andrei Tarkovsky's Solaris on BBC.

Years later, after dipping my toe in journalism (including two non-fiction books) I was drawn back into fiction, specifically screenwriting. After picking up awards for my (spookily prescient) dystopian feature script, Disconn, I've gone on to work on more feature projects.

Currently, I'm developing a TV project, the alternative reality spy thriller, The Commonstate, with Rebellion Studios (Poker Face, Code 8, Streamline). The wonderful Sean Lahiff (Carnifex, I Am Mother, Gold) is also attached to direct my original elevated horror feature Silo.

Right now, I'm working on the pilot for my quirky mystery series, Swan Lake - a timely tale of people trying to find their own form of sanctuary from the world.
