Justin Sudar is an actor and filmmaker from Toronto, Canada who has had a great love for film for as long as he can remember.
From the young age of 7, Justin wanted to be a film editor. Throughout the years of elementary and secondary school, Justin would make any excuse to convince his teachers to let him create a short video to present to his class instead of doing a regular major assignment.
It wasn’t until after Justin graduated from Father Leo. J Austin secondary school that he found that his true love was for the art of acting. Unsure of his career choices, Justin made the decision of returning to high school for one last semester. This is where a teacher, and since, a friend of Justin’s; Kevin Polidano persuaded him into joining his Musical Theatre class.
Justin went on to land a leading role as Kenickie in his high school production of Grease and loved every moment of it. He instantly fell in love with the process of getting into character and the roar of the audience after each performance was a drug he wanted more of.
The world of theatre steered Justin back into the world of film, but this time, more than anything, he wants to be in front of the camera. Justin went on to land roles in independent films and TV series such as Dangerous Persuasions (2013) and Motives and Murders (2015). Justin’s love for the art continued to grow, while he trained at Pro Actors Lab and Armstrong Acting Studios in Toronto over the years.
Since then, Justin has begun writing screenplays and started his own production company, Imperial Films, alongside his brother and managing partner Jordan Settembrini, who shares Justin’s great passion for the industry. Justin had his producing debut when Imperial Films collaborated with Running Tiger Films and Urbuddy Productions to create the film entitled Chiaroscuro (2016). Justin was also cast as the role of Briathos in the film.
Full of ambition Justin is excited to see what the future holds for him in this industry as his journey progresses.
