The events depicted in the film take place on a single night and results in several characters sharing their life stories. It is a fascinating depiction of some of the challenges faced by the poor and by women in  society, some of which continue to this day.

SYNOPSIS:

• In order to save her grandfather's mansion, Rochelle agrees to marry a much older male, Bobby Brown, who decides to sell some artifacts to prospective wealthy buyers, including Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The sale is hampered by heavy rains and the entry of a traveling painter-singer, Chris, as well as four bandits, including Trevor Shaw, who is wanted by the police for the brutal murder of his wife. All these characters share the story of their life bring out oppression and challenges faced by the poor and woman in general for generations.
