About Erik
An established screenwriter and filmmaker, Erik's writing credits include COME AS YOU ARE, which premiered at the 2019 SXSW Film Festival starring Academy Award Nominee Gabourey Sidibe and Grant Rosenmeyer, and HIGH SCHOOL, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival starring Academy Award Winner Adrien Brody, and Michael Chiklis, and was released in theaters nationwide by Anchor Bay Films. His feature script THE CONCERTO has Anders Rune (AEROBICS: A LOVE STORY) attached to direct.
Documentary film credits include: AUTISM GOES TO COLLEGE which will premiere at the 2019 Newport Beach Film Festival, and the PBS Doc AUTISTIC-LIKE: GRAHAM'S STORY. He has also produced LEMONADE: DETRIOT and INDIE GAME MAKERS (for EP Ashton Kutcher), and SWEET SPOT.
Television writing/producing credits include original pilot MEDIOCRE set up at Paulist Productions with Emmy winning producer Chris Donahue (LONGMIRE, TRUST ME) attached to produce. He received a Producers Guild of America Diversity Fellowship for his original pilot WELCOME HOME, which has also been featured at the Writer's Guild of America Disability Theme Night directed by Peter Farrelly.
