About Dale

Dale is a multi-talented make up artist,wardrobe, seamstress/costume maker and Actress, Stand-in, having worked in and around the movie industry for over fifteen years. Over these years, Dale has expanded her portfolio to include Assistant Director, Casting Director (having recently opened her own talent agency), Production Assistant, Location Scouting and Craft Services. All of this second-to-none experience makes Dale Johnson a valuable asset to any movie project!

In recent years, Dale has provided her exceptional make up artist skills on many independent movie projects – many of them award-winning - in Houston, Dallas and Louisiana, creating everything from everyday make up to SyFy effects to gore/horror prosthetics and make up effects. Early in 2016, Dale worked on The Avengers of Justice, not only providing make up, but also single-handedly creating all of the superhero costumes.
In addition, Dale has put her make up skills to good use by teaching students at the film school 4reelz, doing the make up for Sherita Perez’s music video, creating stomach-churning horror effects for haunted houses and even wedding make up for circus performers!

As an actress, in addition to myriad roles in independently produced features and shorts, Dale is no stranger to the network TV shows, having worked both as an extra, stand-in and speaking character on The Leftovers (Season 2 & 3), Star (FoxTV series – airs December 2016), American Crime, Killer Women, The Lying Game and (One Mississippi-featured in the Mardi Gras in a mask and cap) and TV show STAR in the music video as a looney patient actress background. and Movie Girl Trip, SuperCon.
