SYNOPSIS:

Alex and Jake are boyhood friends in their early twenties living in Tucson who think that the summer of 1992 is going to be just another typical summer of skateboarding, partying, and surviving the scorching summer heat, until Jake’s Uncle Gerald comes up with a plan to have Jake and Alex drive several pounds of marijuana from Tucson to Salt Lake City. Enticed by quick money and the thrill of being outlaws, Alex and Jake begin driving increasingly larger loads of pot from Arizona to Utah using a 1966 Pontiac GTO as their mode of transportation, and rapidly find themselves deep inside the highly profitable but extremely dangerous world of drug running.
