SYNOPSIS:

It is the spring of 1988, and up-and-coming country musician Ricky Blackwell is a vampire. While on tour, every night he has a different city to feed in. Ricky is trying to curb his appetite for blood, but the more he stays away from killing, the more his bloodlust begins to consume him, and the more dangerous he becomes. Bud Dalton is the newly elected Sheriff of Independence, Kansas. Hoping to find overlooked evidence, he reopens an old murder case involving a high school girlfriend who died mysteriously several years earlier. After seeing a Ricky Blackwell concert, Dalton discovers a pattern of dead or missing women that coincide with Ricky Blackwell tour dates. As Dalton digs deeper, he discovers that Blackwell might not actually be human, and it is up to Dalton to confront Blackwell and try to stop the musician’s murderous ways.
