SYNOPSIS:

A few years from now, a small but growing segment of society is hardwiring computers directly into their brains for a variety of applications, most notably gaming and personality augmentation. Mickey Devereaux is a Phoenix homicide Detective assigned to catch a killer who is targeting victims wired with the computer implants and during the course of his investigation runs across a new, highly addictive underground drug called Thermal that appears to be designed specifically for people with the computer modifications. Combining elements of “Blade Runner” and “The Matrix,” “Thermal” asks the questions, “What makes you the individual that you are?” and, ultimately, “What does it mean to be human?”
