Tom Tanno has marketed, publicized and promoted films, series and miniseries for numerous television and independent film companies. He has worked with a variety of producers and directors including legendary filmmaker John Frankenheimer. For Frankenheimer, he helped strategize and execute successful marketing and media relations campaigns for the acclaimed director’s Emmy and Golden Globe award winning television films and miniseries, Against The Wall, The Burning Season, Andersonville and George Wallace.

Tanno has worked on films, miniseries and series for NBC Television, ABC Television, PBS, Home Box Office, Turner Network Television, Showtime Networks, Fox Broadcasting and MGM Worldwide Television and independent feature films for Alliance Communications and Unapix Filmed Entertainment, Sunset Pictures, Shared Card Films,. While helping to create media relations campaigns and talent publicity tours, Tanno has also served as unit publicist on sets and locations around the world -- generating and coordinating critical day-to-day publicity, supervising stills photography, gallery photography, EPK & Behind-the-Scenes camera crews, print and electronic media as well as gathering and writing production notes and press kit materials and servicing social media.
