Relatively new on to the scene of film production, I am pleased with the initial experiences I have had and am eager to continue building those skills. My affinity for filmmaking has found some exciting cross overs with experiences across my other work history as a Psychologist and Manager with regards to operational outcomes, working with teams to produce outcomes and strategic breakdown of operational needs towards identifying and producing on deliverables. In particular the course I have attended over the last two years prepared me for my recent experiences in Filmmaking, most notably how to coordinate low budget productions. In 2013 I was fortunate enough to pull together through networking, identifying low budget resources, and sheer determination coupled with strategic operational techniques a micro budget feature completed for $10,000 based on a screenplay I had previously written and was one of two finalist scripts in the A Night of Horror Film Festival. More recently I have been fortunate to work on a number of short project including the short film My Name is Faten which has been entered into the Women of the World film festival for 2015, and can be found on IMDB. In addition, I produced on behalf of the Lebanese Muslim Association an anti domestic violence commercial cited by the Sydney Morning Herald, as well as two training videos. I am now looking to build my skills and experience to produce more projects on a larger scale.
