SYNOPSIS:

It was Christmas Eve sixteen years ago, when Carlos did what he did every year, take his wife and daughter to his in-laws for Christmas dinner. He would drink and then drive home, safely, until the night of...when Carlos wasn't so lucky. He ran a red light and his car was struck on the passenger side by a truck, instantly killing his wife of 15 years and his 8 year old daughter, as Carlos himself tells this story to Jimmy, his now AA meeting Sponsor.

Carlos, has been drinking since he was released from prison three years ago. He wants to die slowly and painfully, as a form of punishment for what he did. But, Jimmy, a man of faith, and an alcoholic himself has other plans. He makes Carlos realize that he was saved that night for a reason. Carlos tells Jimmy that his wife and his little daughter were both saved, they were both believers. Carlos is not a believer and Jimmy tells him, this is what God wants from him. God wants to use Carlos as an example of His unconditional love.
