April Fletcher

I am a musician/composer/sound designer. Most of my experience is in live production - over 20 years as a performer, production coordinator for theatre and music productions and designer for live theatre. As of late, I've been almost exclusively performing - I play electric bass in a cumbia band, a funk/pop band and in an original jazz trio, Cool Beat Borscht. I would like to work in film and television as a music supervisor and sound designer. Also looking to do work as a music copyist.
Though my focus in in music, I have a experience that reaches into other areas. I've done work as a puppeteer, including 3 North American tours. In the past, I was a video editor and more recently did work as an Executive Producer for an educational video series.While working with the HBO Workspace as the Production Coordinator, I was heavily involved in theatre operations as well as assisting the Executive Producers, Albrecht/Read Management. As the Artistic Assistant for the Henry Mancini Institute, my tasks included but were not limited to organizing and running a participate showcase, assisting with class scheduling and assisting high profile performers as needed.
