Philippa Day

Making films is all I’ve done since leaving full time education. I started off working for film production companies in the UK on large features and dramas. I then moved to Tunisia, North Africa and formed my own production services company with my partner, Sindbad Productions. We are now the leading company in our region.

Career defining moment: as a freelancer being part of the four person team that looked after the Star Wars franchise in Tunisia over a three year period. It was hugely satisfying and taught me everything there was to know about film making, and film production services.

My business motto: Keep them coming back. The BBC have returned to us over 20 times, and we are the only company in our country on their preferred users list.

Recent challenges: I’m proud that we have kept our company in profit through political upheaval, and the current health crisis.
