Now working with a development exec on this one. She is taking the script to Blumhouse (one of her company's partners) to try to get a read from them. Fingers crossed!

Together, we rewrote the logline to:

In a darkly comic caper set in San Francisco's Chinatown, a bold scheme to rob a bank using armed robots is threatened by the sibling rivalry between two young Asian-American brothers--one a mechanical genius with Tourette Syndrome, the other a local gang member.

The script's submission to Blumhouse has been delayed, but is still going forward. In other news, it finished in the top 6% in this year's Nicholl screenwriting contest.

Sounds interesting! I like the new logline.
