I'm a German-born, Iranian-American screenwriter living in Los Angeles. My interest in screenwriting developed as an intern at Ambush Entertainment. Upon graduating from UCSB with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, I realized law wasn't my destined career path and I dove head first into the world of my true passion, film.
After a brief stint as an intern then later as a producer's assistant, I moved on to other endeavors and focused solely on my writing. This brought me to enter my first script, "Foreign Exchange", a psychological thriller, into Austin Film Festival in 2013. The script advanced to the second round and in turn, the connections I formed at the festival made projects such as, "30 Camels", possible.
