About Lane
I am a professional video editor, and my feature length documentary "A Friend Indeed - The Bill Sackter Story" is now showing on PBS stations nationwide and the Feature Length version is available now on . I love all kinds of genres (except horror and exploitation), and look forward to collaborating with fellow filmmakers to edit productions - I edit via the internet on a daily basis, and make the process as smooth as if you were looking over my shoulders.

My quick background - I'm a film school graduate from the University of Iowa, spent 4 years in Hollywood mostly as a PA on feature films, music videos and tv specials. Then I moved back to Iowa and ran my video production company Xap Interactive for 14 years, creating a variety of productions. Now I'm working full time as a medical videographer in St. Louis where I travel the world to shoot and edit surgeries and medical productions. Outside of work I am a freelance editor on a variety of productions and I continue to promote my projects: A Friend Indeed - The Bill Sackter Story, XapVision Nature Scenes, and The Nazi Drawings Documentary.
Unique traits: I shoot and edit a variety of productions, and I especially love creating documentaries that take viewers through a range of emotions.
