Screenplay by Lee A. Miller FILM SUMMARY #1 – When Hitler uses the occult in a surprise attack on the U.S. he accidently sends an army and navy through time. A Nazi military force suddenly appears off the Outerbanks N.C. in 2017. With the first female President of the United States trapped on the island, the only thing that can save them is the approaching hurricane . FILM SUMMARY #2 – With the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941 Hitler was bound by a promise to Japan to also declare war on the United States. He did so promptly on Dec. 11 and immediately drew up plans for a devastatingly swift attack on the U.S. eastern seaboard. When Hitler uses a mysterious “Portal” device he inadvertently sends 12 submarines, an elite army of paratroopers and hundreds of war planes, flying through time to present day (2017) Cape Hatteras. The only thing that can save the island is an approaching hurricane. PORTAL DEVICE BACK STORY — In 1940, the Battle of Britain has Hitler worried. Hitler is actively looking to the occult for something to change his fortune. Jungen Müller, a high ranking officer within the Black Sun Legion, the Reich’s secretive occult section of the SS, is shown searching a tiny Polish village for the “Devil’s Key”, a mythical weapon which is rumored to grant the ability to cross continents in the blink of an eye. He finds the portal weapon in the grave of a medieval crusader. In the casket, there is a disk like portal device, several modern pistols and an ancient book that are removed from the arms of the knight. Polish Resistance attack and keep Müller from possessing the instructions book, but the portal device falls into the hands of the Germans. FILM’S SETTING — After arriving in 2017 the Nazi soldiers move to take control of Hatteras Island. Hatteras Island is a remote barrier island located off the North Carolina coast. Dividing the Atlantic Ocean and the Pamlico Sound, it runs parallel to the coast, forming a bend at Cape Hatteras. The island is the longest barrier island in the contiguous United States, measuring 50 miles along the curve of the land. Hatteras Island is known for sport fishing, surfing, windsurfing and kiteboarding, and is known as “The blue marlin capital of the world.” The island is full of hotels and condos and luxurious oceanfront cottages. Hatteras Island is often used for destination weddings, family reunions, and special events. According to the United States Census Bureau the island has a population of 4,001 as of the 2010 census. OPENING SEQUENCE — In 2017, the President of the United States, Alexandera Lovell, has been planning on a working holiday attending a ceremony at the lighthouse and vacationing on the island. She is visiting the island to pin a medal on a veteran Coast Guardsman. He was the 15 year old boy who spotted a U-Boat in World War II while on duty in the light house. Later the U-Boat was sunk. The first female President is young, energetic and fit but not entirely popular; the nation has many problems and most of them rest on her shoulders. It is reported in the media that Lovell is flying into Norfolk Virginia on Air Force One. Then Marine One is to take her to the Island. In 1941 Germany, 20 Junkers transport planes are outfitted with elite paratroopers with orders to kidnap or kill Franklin Roosevelt who is to be speaking at the Lighthouse. German submarines are to attack the U.S. Navy at Norfolk. A force of reinforcements are scheduled to invade the mainland the next day. They are given extensive maps of the Norfolk Navy Yard, Hatteras island. This film can easily be Luftwaffe fest. The Junkers transport planes are accompanied by many Messerschmitt fighters, Stuka dive bombers and some Heinkel heavy bombers in the mission. This is early in the war and Germany can mass huge armies of elite soldiers. They are very mechanized. Notably they fly in 30 or 40 motorcycles. The plan is for the lead plane to use the portal device to get them to North Carolina and for the plane to then immediately return the device to Germany safely. There is a larger invasion planned for the next day. The only problem is they don’t have total control of the device and it send the army to the wrong time. The Nazi force arrive out of dark clouds and an off shore lightening storm in 2017 and on the tail of the President’s Marine One helicopter just as it is landing near the Lighthouse. They shot down the helicopter and it crashes into the Atlantic. The island falls into the hands of the parachuting Germans. Simultaneously in Norfolk, submarines and bombers are wreaking havoc. Many of our modern weapons systems aren’t designed to work against 1940s aircraft. It is Pearl Harbor all over again, only this time on the East Coast and this time it is 2017. NAZI MILITARY OBJECTIVES – First is to secure Hatteras and Ocracoke Inlets so the larger invasion ships have unmolested access to Pamlico Sound. Hitler’s immediate invasion objective is the city of Greenville. Secondly Nazi spies indicate that FDR will be giving a speech at the Lighthouse, he is to be captured or killed. FILM PLOT – The President survives the helicopter crash and she swims ashore with only a few of her security detail. She must, with some of the islanders, fight a running battle as she moves north along Highway 12. Trapped on a remote island, out of communication, with few weapons and seriously outnumbered President Lovell must evade the Nazi soldiers and survive to stop the invasion the next day. The American people watch her narrow escapes and the entire chase on TV and on their smart phones. Technological progress sure, but there is little that can be done to save the President. The few surviving Secret Service agents and the helpful townspeople must deal with the Nazi soldiers until help arrives. Obviously this is an action adventure film.
