Being a lady of many diverse and sensational talents, Michelle Valines is a fashion model, an
actress, and an associate film producer who is constantly working to sharpen her already impressive
artistry prowess. A native of Baltimore, MD, Michelle Valines exhibited a multifaceted skill set for the
performing arts at an early age. She has a genuine talent for comedy, and she loves to make people
laugh. Before deciding to pursue her entertainment career, Michelle diligently worked as a successful
multimillion-dollar-selling real estate agent; simultaneously, she successfully owned and operated a
property management company. Being no stranger to perseverance and dedication, her strong and
tireless work ethic coupled with her passion for perfecting her craft has enabled her to experience the
realization of many of her childhood dreams. This mother of three sons knows what is needed to
achieve success in various aspects of life.
Educationally, Michelle Valines is a graduate of Frederick Douglas High School in Baltimore,
MD, where she served as senior class president, participated in the Junior Reserved Officers Training
Corp (JROTC), played high school sports, and was a member of her school's student government
association – all while maintaining good grades and working an after school job. While raising her
children, as a strong single parent, Michelle maintained employment as she attended college. With a
deep ceded passion for modeling, Michelle enrolled as a student in the John Casablancas Modeling &
Career Center.
Professionally, Michelle has appeared in print, on stage, and on both the big screen and the
small screen. Professional modeling has opened many doors to various new and exciting pathways for
Michelle Valines. Michelle’s professional acting career began in earnest when she caught the attention
of renowned casting agent Pat Moran and was cast as an extra on the hit HBO crime drama: The Wire.
Subsequently, Michelle appeared in the hit movie Ladder 49 starring John Travolta, Joaquin Phoenix,
and Morris Chestnut. Based on a Stephen King Novel, “the Things They Left Behind” showed Michelle's acting versatility, as she portrayed Janice Mason, a pivotal character in the film. Written and directed by famed Hollywood legend John Waters, A Dirty Shame is another movie that allowed Michelle to share her acting gift with the world. Michelle has also appeared on the USA Network's series: Necessary Roughness, where she played an FBI agent. Michelle landed the role of Detective Robinson in Dead Collections- the Movie as well. Owning the role of “Miss Davis” in the anti-bullying, theatrical stage production: Teens What's the Rush, Michelle Valines brought needed attention to the harsh realities that children face when they're bullied. Michelle has made a guest appearance on the TV drama: Cool Carolina Nights.
She has appeared in both the stage and screen versions of the production entitled: Church Girl. Showing a true concern for health and wellness, Michelle played the role of “Briana,” as she co-starred in an industrial health video entitled: Take Control of Your Health.
Michelle's upcoming projects include: starring in a new TV series: Prentice Place (as Tammy
Prentice). The overtly heterosexual Michelle Valines will (for the first time ever) portray a lesbian
character in the independent film: Wedding Wreckers. Michelle is also featured in the upcoming film:
Rabidus, which stars actor/comedian Rodney Perry.
In what little spare time she has, Michelle enjoys cooking, cleaning, and spending time with her
friends and family. The opportunity to pursue her lifelong dream of acting comes at a pivotal time for
her. With the support of her family, friends, and fans, this Atlanta resident is destined for greatness!
