I'm currently producing my first short film, "THINK FAST" -- a drama on a deadline about an agent who must sign a client to save her career, or ignore the client to save a wrong-number suicide caller's life. ("How many bad choices does it take to make the right decision?")

In my screenwriting cache, I've got a Cranky Christmas Comedy for the Family; a fish-out-of-water Rom Com; a 1-hour drama pilot; a 1/2 hour single-camera comedy; a Web Pilot; and a Modern Family Spec. (Luckily, only about half of what I write about is from my own life— yikes!)

My storytelling is influenced by a background shaped by my can-do perspective. Let me tell you, today it takes guts to wear rose-colored glasses. But I think like an entrepreneur, I perform like an entrepreneur, I’ve raised entrepreneurs (Oh, and I’ve been on the cover of Entrepreneurial Woman magazine, does that help?) A background of fearlessly jumping in, rolling up my sleeves, and creating something from nothing is not only hip, it builds character.

I see characters everywhere, and I’ve raised a couple of characters of my own: “Murphy Brown” and her younger sister Goldie Hawn... er, I mean, a sports marketing agent and a television actress.

(You want unique? Okay, but don’t tell anybody: I’ve got a secret identity as a 20-something blogger at !) And as a long-time E.R. Volunteer, I see it all, even if my rose-colored glasses are a bit cracked.

Specialties: Creating something out of nothing and finding the funny even when it hurts.
