SYNOPSIS:
When Del Daughtry gets out of the Marines and comes home from Afghanistan to rural North Carolina, he discovers his mother's in danger of losing the family farm, thanks to an unpaid tax debt. He also reconnects with his childhood friend, Hiawatha King, now an ex-convict who's done time for petty robberies. Suddenly nostalgic, Daughtry and King visit a nearby strip club, where a girl they both know from high school dances. A chance run-in there with some Pakistani immigrants sparks a feud - along with an idea. Soon Daughtry combines his experience in Afghanistan with King's criminal expertise, and the two launch a campaign of robbing every hawala - or underground Islamic bank - the two of them can identify, always with the battle cry of "knock knock, y'all - it's tax time." Will "the Taxmen" manage to bag enough cash to keep the Daughtry farm, while staying alive and free? Will they get taken down by a tenacious female FBI agent - her slippery CIA officer rival - or homegrown Islamic extremists? Or will success, greed, and the baggage of the stripper girlfriend they once shared have them at each other's throats?
