SYNOPSIS:

THE MASTERPIECE OF ENDURANCE begins in France in 1735 and ends in Louisiana in 1764. Two brothers, Jacque and Jared are trapped in a War between Nations. They plan their escape to find their destiny in North America, but barely escape the King’s men in time. Half-way across sea the brothers argue. Jared sails for Louisiana and Jacque sails for Acadia. Each for their own destiny! Will Jared ever be seen again? Jacque finds a good life in Acadia, but Europe’s wars arrive. The Acadians join the French to fight the English. A big mistake! The English led by their vicious new Governor and Commander Charles Lawrence, win the fight. The Acadians’ homes are raided, their village burned and they are cast out to sea in cargo ships to places unknown. A holocaustic event and the end of a way of live. A Pirate ship attacks the Acadian cargo ship. All seems lost until a big storm saves the cargo ship, but damages the pirate ship. The Acadians munity and take over the cargo ship. On to Louisiana to find brother Jared. The Acadians struggle through more storms and yellow fever. Jacque succumbs to the fever and now his daughter Jenny must led the Acadians to Louisiana. Jenny finds Jared, but must prove her heritage. Jared is convinced when Jenny shows him a scared family necklace. Jared provides provisions and land grants for the Acadians to get to southwest Louisiana. Not so fast! They must cross the Great Swamp which is full of alligators, Indians and Black Magic. Jenney and the Acadians are attacked by the Voodoo King.They are saved by the secret powers of the scared necklace with has supernatural powers. At last the promise land. Destiny fulfilled!
