I was born ugly in the first half of the last century, and there's been no improvement that I can see. I'm totally eclectic, having worked in everything from avionics, vibration and structural dynamics, to indie films someplace at the other end of the spectrum. I have a passion for wrestling and have through some quirk of fate managed to gather a number of championships, and now volunteer part time as a HS Wrestling coach.
I've taken on developing websites, creating knowledge transfer sessions and doing e-learning, much done with video, stills and graphics. I fell in love with indie films and got into doing still work and set design...my current project is building a western movie town and ranch in the CA desert, which I'm combining with a production and leasing company, the administration of which will certainly interfere with my career as an ill-paid xtra in western genre indies.
I've posted a preliminary webpage for my movie town if I've kept your interest to this point... hardtimes.silverbackswrestling.com
Name: Bruce Quinn
Occupation: Director of Photography, Location Scout, Model Maker, Photographer (Still), Screenwriter and Set Designer
Unique traits: Can pass for ugly, old, roughneck or a grandfather, have a booming voice, can show anger or love at the drop of a hat, never have cried, have the luck of the Irish, bones that creak in the morning to let me know I have another day to annoy, know that some day I'll win the lottery, disinherit the kids, and buy that island near Tahiti. I've lept tall buildings, although sometmes with disasterous results, gone to war, thrived in the environment, but didn't like it one bit. I usually command by acclamation, I think it's due to the John Wayne dimensions and demeanor, but others tell me different. I can lie with a straight face, and know that if you always smile, no one knows what you are thinking.
